Making A Difference
Growing Footprints proudly supports beyondblue.
Growing Footprints proudly supports the vital difference beyondblue is making in our community.
beyondblue's support in post natal depression is something that has particularly caught our attention. As many parents will know, becoming a parent is an overwhelming experience. Pregnancy and adjusting to a new baby is rewarding, but it can also bring significant changes and challenges. While some days are better than others, for some women everyday can be struggle. beyondblue are working on educating our community, whilst also providing vital support to these women.
Growing Footprints strongly believes in the support beyondblue offers, and as trite and clique as it may sound, together we can make a difference.beyondblue: the national depression and anxiety initiative
Most Australian's have some experience with anxiety and depression or related disorders, whether it is personal or via family, friends or work colleagues. beyondblue’s work is aimed at achieving an Australian community that understands depression and anxiety, empowering all Australians, at any life-stage, to seek help. beyondblue raises awareness, reduces stigma and ensures people have access to the information they need to support recovery, management and resilience.
beyondblue is a national, independent, not-for-profit organisation and a bipartisan initiative of the Australian, state and territory governments. beyondblue works in partnership with health services, schools, workplaces, universities, media and community organisations, as well as people living with depression, anxiety and related disorders and their carers, to bring together expertise and provide tools and resources.
