Wooden furniture will always be an element in homes, from a small stool through to big furniture it has and always will be timeless. The reason for this, each piece delivers something unique, sturdy and often a history behind it. Wood has been worked with for generations, and no matter which era you look at, stand out pieces have often been crafted by hand and the result is always next level!
This week we rediscover our love for wooden pieces in children's rooms, from big feature pieces to small accessories that compliment a space.
Let's talk BIG...
If we start with the biggest piece in a bedroom, occasionally we wonder if it will be "too much". But have a wooden bed can often set the tone for the whole room. These beautiful spaces so us how easy it is to work around a big wooden piece of furniture, from mixing colours to neutral tones we see it all.
Now, you don't always have to go big and pick the biggest piece of furniture to make an impact. You can make just as much of an impact by implementing wooden statement pieces into a space. From desks, to ladders, we have you covered.

Storage has never looked as good as it does nowadays, and lets be honest with the amount of things our littles accumulate, you need all the storage you can get! To have it look pretty, is simply an added bonus. From tall boys to benches...the options are limitless.
Ahhhh...wood, so versatile, so natural, so unique from every single angle! There is nothing quite like it...except maybe marble, but we'll leave that for another day otherwise we could be here for a while! But from beds through to something as simple as a hook, a wooden element is so easy to work into any space and can bring a warm, natural tone without too much trouble.
So...if your love for wood hasn't been reignited or gone up a notch or two after this, then we bow down and surrender!
